Standard Shipping:
Shipping Delays: During the holiday season, you might experience some delays on order shipping.
We aim to deliver our products within 3-5 business days, although we tend to deliver sooner.
- Once the order is processed and picked up, we will email you with a tracking number that will allow you to track and know when to expect your products delivered.
- Standard shipping applies for non-riding mowers.
- It is important to note that we do not provide any guarantees on transit times on any items over 150lbs.
- We do offer a 30-minute cancellation window that begins as soon as the order is submitted. To complete this, you will need to have created and account be logged in.
- Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska is limited to certain products (exceptions include but not limited to riding mowers, dual-stage snow blowers, lawn mowers, e-transportation vehicles and go-karts) and incurs an additional charge.
- Alaska shipping charge is $399.
- Hawaii shipping charge is $499.
- Free shipping on orders over $100.
- Excludes: exceptions include but not limited to riding mowers, dual-stage snow blowers, lawn mowers, e-transportation vehicles and go-karts.
- Not applicable to AK & HI. Additional exclusions may be added without notice.
Standard Shipping for Riding Mowers:
Transit times vary due to location and delivery availability, but we strive to deliver your new riding mower within the estimated time frame of 5-7 business days. However, due to high demand and occasional logistical challenges, there may be instances where delivery takes longer than expected.
Ryder Shipping (Ryder White Glove and Ryder Home Delivery):
- Delivery of product through Ryder can vary.
- Ryder Home Delivery can be between 5 to 7 business days, with delivery to rural areas possibly taking longer.
- Ryder White Glove Delivery can be between 5 to 7 business days, with delivery to rural areas possibly taking longer.
- May be unavailable in certain locations.
- Important Note Customers must be at home at time of delivery.
- We need to specify that they will be contacted by 3rd party “Ryder” to set up delivery appointment.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
We do not ship outside of the continental US (with the exception of limited services to Alaska and Hawaii).
Best Buy Local Pickup:
The program is available for select products and select Best Buy locations. Product availability depends on individual Best Buy Store location you select.

For a successful pickup, you must bring the following items with you to the store:
- A government-issued photo ID
- The order number or a copy of their “Ready for Pickup” email (printed or on a phone/tablet)
- IMPORTANT: Only you can pick up this order

How long do I have to return an item?
- Returns can be made up to 30 days from the time you picked up your product at a Best Buy store.
Where do I return my product?
- If you purchased a product from www.thurstonssmallengines.store and you selected a Best Buy in-store pickup, any NEW and UNUSED item can be returned to a Best Buy store; any Best Buy store will accept your return. (Recommended option)
- The product can also be returned via the return process initiated on www.thurstonssmallengines.store, but this would require for the product to be shipped back to our Thurston’s Small Engines Tools Warehouse.
How long will it take to get a refund? In what form will I receive it?
- For all in-store returns, a refund should be provided within 7–10 business days from the date the return was accepted. If there is a problem with the refund, you will receive an email with additional details. You can check your order status via www.thurstonssmallengines.store under purchase order history.
- Items that are damaged, unsanitary, dented, scratched or missing major components may be denied a return. Please call Thurston’s Small Engines Customer Support at +1 315-344-7924.
Can I exchange my item in the store?
- In-store exchanges are not available. Best Buy offers returns through which a monetary credit will be issued to the original payment method.
